Oaklands College's newly laid Sports Hall was today re-opened by former Oaklands Wolves Rugby Academy star graduate Joel Kpoku.
Joel, who currently plays for current English Premiership champions Saracens, returned to Oaklands College where he flourished as a student rugby player, to open the newly refurbished Sports Hall floor which was damaged by the Discovery Centre fire in June.
Deputy Principal Harpreet Nagra, who was in attendance said; "It was a pleasure to welcome back Joel, a fantastic role model and ambassador for Oaklands College, to open our newly refurbished Sports Hall. I am delighted to see the facilities return to fully functioning order for our students to utilise for the academic year."
